The boys attire

Well the wedding is coming fast and we still have a ton of planning to do! Erik still has to decide on his groomsmen’s attire. We wanted to switch it up a bit. Rather than a regular tux, we wanted to do something a little more southern. I was thinking a blue blazer, with khaki dress pants and a Martha’s Vineyard bowtie. Does anyone have any suggestions of cute Vineyard Vines patterns? I was thinking about the light blue bowtie with the starfish… What do you all think? The girls’ dresses are a light sea green so I thought it would look nice together. I guess I can always go with pink! We are heading to Charleston this weekend and we are going to try to pick out the suits. I hope we can find something we love and that the boys will enjoy wearing. Erik has 7 groomsmen and my cousin, Tommy, is going to be the ring bearer. It is going to be an awesome group of guys!

Quick tip— If you type a color into the “search” box on the website, it will display all the items VV has to offer in that particular color. For example, if you’re looking for light blue ties, type in “light blue” and you’ll see lots of patterns in that color. Or if you want Martha’s Vineyard- themed ties, type in “Martha’s Vineyard” and it will display all the ties we make that incorporate that pattern.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Hey Jamie, congrats on the new house, I’m going through that process right now..uggh, lots of details! As far as Vineyard vines, we have an awesome old school men’s shop on King Street called M. Dumas, you may have been to before, they have a huge selection of vineyard vines as well as other brands of bow ties. If you want me to go down there and send you some “samples” I’m sure they wouldn’t mind at all, we borrow stuff from them all the time for photo shoots. Hope everything is going well, our partner Charleston Magazine is thrilled that you are coming down for their Fashion Week Bridal Couture show…it really is an amazing event, you’ll think you’re in New York they do such an amazing job! Hope you and Erik are doing well, let us know if you need anything!
